Lightning Hall is the studio of Sarah Zar, an American artist who has shown in galleries across NYC and internationally. Zar has been the recipient of numerous awards, including The Roanne Kulakoff Award for Painting and the Bradley Smith Award for Sculpture. She has exhibited at Denise Bibro Fine Art/ Platform Gallery in NYC, Pratt Institute, Janet Kurnatowski Gallery, the Chautauqua Institution, Sideshow Gallery, BLAM, and Stephen Romano Gallery, with solo exhibitions in the US and at Afterhours Projects in Toronto, Canada. Recent publications include IPMM, Apex Magazine, and her art book, Riddled With Spots, which is available in the Museum of Modern Art. Zar lives and works in the Naftali Mountains.
